This is an example of using the “submit your event” form. It’s pretty self explanatory.

IMPORTANT be careful to NOT upload a picture with width or height more than 1500 pixels. Otherwise when you hit the “Submit Post” button, you’ll have an error message and everything you wrote in this text box and all of your images will disappear!!! You’ll have to start it all over. Sorry.

It is also MANDATORY TO WRITE SOMETHING in the text box, otherwise you’ll have an error message and you’ll have to start it all over again. Sorry again.

Please put with the title the town and COUNTRY your event is in.
In the text box you can add other info such as if your event is private or public… the exact address of your event, your phone and so on…

Your URL can be any page you’d like people to look at, your profile on social media, company, University, venue of your event…

If you have a video, put the link directly in this text box and link it (use the chain icon in the text box menu) Example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jRT4Q5b0rAI

Once you’ve successfully posted your event, you have to wait for your post to be approved by the IDL staff. This security is to get rid of undesirable posts by robots or extraterrestrials 😉

Later, you can add a comment under your post. For example after your event. You can add a comment, question, appreciation… under any post too!
